Rebirthing Self is a self-support platform, not a therapy platform. It is built for people in a stable place, doing self-directed work at their own pace.

The AI here ("Source") never diagnoses you, never treats your doubts about this process as something wrong with you, and will repeatedly point you toward real human support — professional and relational — rather than becoming a replacement for either.

Your account and everything you write is stored with Supabase, which runs on third-party cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) that we don't personally control.

Sensitive content — journal entries, points, relationship and Mind/Backchat writing — is encrypted at rest, using a key kept separate from the database itself. That protects your data against a stolen backup, a compromised disk, or unauthorized database access. It does not mean this platform's backend, or the AI itself, never sees the plaintext — Source genuinely needs to read your content, server-side, to do anything useful with it.

Your written content is sent, server-side, to the AI provider that powers Source, in order to generate its responses. (We'll name the specific AI provider and link its data-use policy here once it's finalized — this is intentionally not locked in yet.)

We do not look at your individual content outside of what's explicitly logged for support or debugging — every such access is recorded in an access log, so "we don't look at your data" is something checkable, not just a promise.
